Microsoft Windows 7 and MS Windows Server 2008 will be upgrading to Service Pack 1 in the early part of 2011, reports CNET.  Public downloads of the Beta versions of SP1 for both Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 can be found at "Springboard Series on TechNet". The Beta versions will stop working on June 30, 2011.
