If you have Windows 7 or another older version of Windows, without virtual machine, and do not wish to override your present OS with Win8, you can dual boot. Please backup all your files first before starting.
When you download Win8, save to ISO. Create a new drive partition, then download Win8 from ISO to the new partition.
You can then have access to your Win7 and Win8 in dual boot fashion.
